I'm starting to pay a bit of attention to this stuff as I try to put together my preseason picks for the Valley.

I can't see BU in the top half. That looks like one of the weaker BU teams in a few years.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

BU is as thin in the paint going entering a season as any team I can remember.
When you are counting on Sam Singh, Anthony Thompson and a couple of Frosh to patrol the interior, you've have some issues.
        Good guard play?
        Yes.
        But little else. 8)
Above all, make the right call.

Don't forget about Will Egolf, who missed almost all of last year with a knee injury. He could make a big impact on that team.

Egolf had nice numbers coming out of HS, but the jury is out on any player coming back from a serious knee injury. The injury/rehab itself is tough, but sitting a year takes a toll too.
Keep in mind, WSU fans were pulling (with every once of hope) for Mantas G. to play last year after ACL reconstruction.
The pain was unbearable and he eventually shut it down. His attempt was noble, but it was painful to watch and that's being kind. 8)

Singh looked plenty decent in Wichita last winter.

They do have a top 100 freshman PF that should contribute immediately. Even with that, they are exceptionally thin in the middle.

Looking around the league, there aren't many teams that have their paint patrol taken care of at this point. There are question marks all over the place.

The PF you speak of is Jordan Prosser... he'll have to struggle early for minutes, but should be a solid contributor by Valley season.

I'm not going to look it up, but I'm sure Prosser is no longer in anyone's' top 100 anymore. I think he might of made a top 100 list sometime ago but his stock dropped a lot.

What was Prosser's ranking before and after he signed with Bradley? Was it similar to what happens to other top 100 players when they sign with a Valley team? It's circular...circular...

He fell before he signed with anyone. Players don't fall just because they sign with a Valley school.

I was thinking he killed us at home last year. Not for sure but I think he's also hurt us before. I know I wasn't happy about him getting another year of eligibility.

It really helps our depth in the middle, which is thin to begin with. Sam did have a good game at Wichita last season, but he's pretty much a 15-20 minute guy who will bang around inside and end up with 7 points and 5 rebounds.

BTW - I'm really looking forward to seeing what Murry and Hannah look like this season. I mentioned their names, along with JT, on the radio appearance I had in Omaha.

I think that Murry and Hannah will be good but I don't think that they will be the story this year. I think that it will be Durley, Stutz and Blair.
