  • In memory of Bill Lang

Anybody who didn't get to see Bill play or get to know him missed out on a treat.

Bill was a very good friend of mine at WSU and one of the more memorable people I met at WSU.

Today the earth is missing one outstanding person.

I remember the quote about his liking the physical aspect of the game. If you watched him play, it was obvious that he liked it a lot.

Short on talent, but long on heart.

Everyone, who saw him play, loved him.

    I certainly did.

Bill played beyond his abilities. He had some classic battles with more talented and bigger players from Louisville and held his own. He had the attitude. RIP

I remember watching Bill play while I was a student at WSU. He was everything that previous posters have already said.

        Rest In Peace Bill.

Didn't Bill shoot free throws by bringing the ball back beside his head almost down to his shoulder. I was only about 12 at the time.

"Wild" Bill will be missed. Heart and desire second to none.
