  • Turgeon's First Practice

Is Coach Turgeon's A&M players going to be pulling off the Texas Football Two Step at their first practice?

Although it's not "Midnight Madness" anymore with festivities tipping off at 7 p.m., that doesn't squelch the excitement over the official start of the season, writes Andy Katz.

Texas Longhorns breakin it down at UCF's Brighthouse stadium. If the defensive line played as well as they danced they may have beaten the spread. =)

                  No.
Agreed Ricky. Only if someone were to graduate from WSU could you say once a Shocker always a Shocker.

                        Strongly disagree.

In my book, ANY Shocker coach or player who gives his blood, sweat, and tears is a Shocker no matter how you may want to quibble a definition.

What do the number of years matter or how successful or unsuccessful they were? If they gave their best and didn't commit a heinious crime, they're a Shocker, no matter what.

Anybody disagree that Guy is not a Shocker even though he never played or attended a class?

In my opinion, Ralph Miller and Mark Turgeon were and always will remain Shockers, and damn good ones to boot.

Eddie Fogler. I wouldn't want to argue that he didn't give his best when he was here. He didn't commit a crime. Is he a Shocker? No.

I just think there ends up being too much Turgeon Talk. I know some people care about what he does at aTm and I'm fine with that. But I do think he's brought up too much in other areas.
