Mannigault will have the ability to play the PG-SF postion this year due to his size, wingspan and athletic ability.

He'd probably be a pretty good football player. With his energy and size I could see him doing alright. Glad he chose basketball though :yahoo:

When reviewing tape, HCGM asked his wife, Lynn, to come and see how incredible Demetric Williams was. She commented that WSU would not get him due to his outstanding ability to make plays. She said he would end up in the PAC 10 without question. HCGM said there was a chance they would get him. They were very pleasently surpised when he committed after Demetric and his father visited WSU. The coach, facilities and enthusiastic fan base sold the program.

Let's see... A 6'7" 220 lb player who likes to get physical and move people around in the paint.
Naaa. He won't fit into The Valley at all. 8)
Above all, make the right call.

We are so fortunate to have a great recruiter here at WSU. We were able to get Coy in a more publicized recruiting war. And now Williams is a good example of HCGM's recruiting prowess.

And he ended the interview with an unprompted voice of support for the baseball team. The man is a true Shocker.

Little extra info that Marshall gave on the new recruits (some of which has been reported)

                  Manigault: 6'3 1/2" to 6/4, 190 lbs, 7' reach
Hamilton: 6'6 1/2", 215 lbs, has a 4.5 40, 36" vertical (then mentioned the football scholarship from Florida State)
Coy: Didn't go into detail but mentioned he was playing with the baseball team right now
                  Richardson: 6'4", 195 lb wing
Williams: Tremendous upside; true PG but may be a 2 guard as well; think of him as a young TM with the exception that TM came in with all the minutes in the world in front of him and DW doesn't have that luxury as a lot of those minutes are already taken and he will have to work hard for his minutes. Said he visited with his Dad but knew he had a very short time to commit because of the others that were scheduled to visit. He visited the weekend, committed on Monday night and signed on Tuesday. I believe our next recruit was due in Tuesday.

Shirley will want to know, if we can beat UNI next year.

He also alluded that the incoming class, including Blair and Coy, could compete well with many teams. I don't remember if he referred to within the MVC or Div 1.

Are the calls archived so that they can be listened to later?

If so, where can they be found?
