  • A&M Players declare for Draft

I noticed in todays' Eagle that 3 Texas A&M players have declared for the NBA Draft...juniors Elonu, Bryan Davis and Donald Sloan...Two bigs and a guard. ..That has to hurt the Turg...If they all go.

None of those guys should go. If they do it will be a mistake on their part. I would expect them all to be back next year.

does 'OT' mean 'off topic' here? because, it idoes, you need to post it on the isu kid declaring as well, to be consistent.

Semi correct. Osirus Eldridge directly impacts Wichita State, as Illinois St is a common opponent.

A&M is not. Nor do they have anything to do with the Valley.

Not really. WSU plays ISU twice every year, so Osiris going pro or not has a direct impact on WSU's schedule and the Valley standings. This is why conference based threads of all time are on-topic.

It may be borderline, but with it being the off-season it's not really cluttering up the board.

A&M is relevant to a Shocker message board as long as Turgeon is there. Regardless of what anybody thought of his leaving WSU, or the state of the program the following year, I appreciate Turgeon for what he brought to WSU. Without Turgeon was responsible for our postseasons. He resurrected our program from embarressment. Without the respest that Turgeon brought to WSU men's basketball, we wouldn't havel likey drawn Marshall & wouldn't have had other topics discussing the positive beliefs we all have in WSU's future.

A&M is currently the team I root for in the Big 12.

Not to mention, this post is college basketball related. Please don't give shockernet too short of a leash.

It's basketball talk, it belongs in the basketball board, let's not be a bunch of Turgeon whiners.... Go to any other board and you'll see posters talking about what's going on at other schools whether it directly impacts them or not. Posters here just seem to have a sore spot when it comes to threads involving Turg, KU, KSU..etc.
