  • Gregg Marshall Auction and Golf Tournament

I have been remiss in my annual plea/suggestion for participation in Gregg's auction and golf tournament. I think the program is on the brink of something really special but support is obviously a significant part of allowing that to happen.

Here is a link to more information. I hope everyone will support this important event at a level they can afford.

The Gregg Marshall Golf Classic and Auction has been set for April 28 and 30 at Crestview Country Club and Charles Koch Arena. Click the link for more information on the event.

I know there is a need for more golfers, and perhaps for golf prizes as well. If you have questions or donations, please call Brian Morris at 978-7276. http://www.goshockers.com/ViewArticl...ATCLID=3694716

Thanks for everyone's support of Shocker Basketball!

Royal, or other administrator, could you please post this as a sticky?

    Thanks.

I am excited to attend this year and will be a prize sponsor as well. Should be an interesting time!

Well I am sorry I missed you last night ISASO. For those not in attendance, you missed a GREAT night.

Great, BIG crowd. Good food, plenty to drink, good music and a who's who of Shocker athletics.

Garrett, Toure' and JT also made an appearance. There were probably a couple of others I didn't see.

Former star Jason Perez was there and looking like he could play right now.

There were a TON of silent auction items from every corner you could imagine.

I know I sound like a broken record, but it really is something you should try to attend. You don't have to buy anything and at $25 it is a bargain. Just being there and getting to talk to the coaches and players, eating good food and drinking free booze....it is a great night out and the cause is what we love.

If ISASO knows you doc, I'll have him point you out to me. Had a good time and picked up a couple of the silent aucton items. The best one was a Norman Rockwell type rendition of WU sketching his own portrait looking into a mirror and lo and behold it was a picture of Gregg Marshall. They made 50 copies from this original and will number them and sell them later. This one is already hanging on a wall in our house.
