In another thread, I saw a worry from a while back about WSU's free throw shooting last year -- certainly an understandable concern for much of the season.
But the percentage rose as the season progressed, finishing at a fairly passable (although hardly noteworthy) .686. More important, though, the combined percentage of the returning players (now with Chamberlain announcing his departure) is .701, and only Hawkins is an outlier at .609 -- the next worst are Ellis and Durley (.676 and .677). And the likely starting guards, Hannah and Murry, combined to shoot a respectable .744 between them, with Murry already over 75% and probably a good candidate to improve.
