John Cooper to get head coaching position
“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'”

Glad for Cooooooooop. Good deal for us. Never know when you're in the market for a new coach.
I ran into him 6-7 years ago while waiting on a flight in O'Hare. We had a nice conversation and stoll down memory lane. You could tell he holds WSU and the city in high regard and said "I will always have a soft place in my heart for that place." Very personable and easy to talk with...salt of the earth.

When i was a little one and i was starting to really get into shocker basketball, Cooper was in his senior season, he was one of my all time fav's. I was so upset when Coop went down that season with that ankle injury. Anyways go get'em Coop  :wsu_posters:Follow me on twitter: https://twitter.com/Shox_KCfan

Great news for Coooooooooooop!
And your right ShockerPrez,
Coop and Guffrovich were a great dual.
Coop helped us get to the Big Dance and
then to the NIT his first two years before
we were Cohened his last two years.
Question? Didn't he break his ankle
during a game against Tennessee over
in Hawaii that ended his career with us?
And..... now how large is the WSU coaching
tree now?
