The K-Suck athletic department is financially getting passed like a car going the other direction by the majority of the BCS schools. When you're the Dollar General in a world of Saks Fifth Avenues, you start to look a little silly acting like your poo-poo doesn't stink.

In 10 years... or less... Tractor Tech will be fortunate to even call themselves a mid-major. The old Big 8 thought so as well, since they were almost kicked out of the conference several times. Today, schools like K-State benefit from being in a BCS conference in the same way street beggers benefit from the handouts of others who actually pull their weight in life.

Those coattails you're holding onto for dear life aren't going to last forever Mildkitties. Better enjoy that "BCS welfare" while it lasts.

I think what's truly sad when talking about KSU is that they had 2 NBA players on their team, one being a first team All-American, and all they could do was win 1 NCAA tournament game....nice job guys.

We all saw what happens at WSU if you have a some above average Mid-Major players, throw in some All-Americans and you have a national title.

K-State had the most benefit from WSU losing football. If not for the Kittens receiving the "Hail Mary" pass from WSU, they probably would have long been kicked out of the Big XII.
It bought them a few years, but the clock is running. Without the hand-outs of the Big XII, they'd be lucky to fund a cowchip throwing team.
