  • Does 10 upsets in 32 games...

Say anything about the selection committee and the value they placed on certain teams?

That seems like a pretty high percentage of upsets from a committee that's supposed to be the best for the job?

Are you counting 9 over 8 and 7 over 10 as upsets? Those are a whole lot closer to pick-'ems than they are to upsets.

    I only count five upsets.

Says everything to the parity of college basketball.

Would you have put Cleveland State as a higher seed than Wake Forrest?

Amazing! I wonder how many 4-13 games have ended with the lower seed blowing out the higher seed? The Siena/OSU game was the televised game in our region, but the score updates indicated that the game was over from the start.

The Cleveland St. Bracket Buster game was one of the few home games I missed this year. The people who used my 4 tickets said they were possibly the best team we played all year next to Michigan St.

Funny thing is I didn't really think Cleveland St was all that great. I mean they were solid, but I felt there were 2-3 teams better than them in the Valley. But they sure did well after that game.

I picked Wake over them, but I was not unhappy to see them whoop up on Wake. I was very surprised though.

I thought Cleveland State would have won the valley.

They wouldn't have been in the bottom half though.

CSU surprised me. I wasn't overly impressed when we played them and didn't think they had a chance against Wake.

This is the most boring tourney ever. I know there have been some good finishes to some games lately, but there are usually several teams I'm rooting for. Cleveland State is about it at this point.

So far the CSU and Siena thrillers have been about the only points of interest for me. Although WKU nearly added to the drama.

I wonder how the rating for this particular tourney have been going?

I don't think that there's near as much drama to it this year....Maybe the NCAA and CBS will rethink the selection process a little bit?

I wish to respectfully disagree with you my shocker brother. I have thought this is one of the best first and second rounds in a while. I hardly missed any but the Thursday afternoon games this weekend, and that was because of work.
But different strokes buddy. Hopefully it will get better for you.
