To hear people chirp and twit about the exciting possibility of us increasing our "win" total in a tournament of losers that were not invited to the Not Invited Tournament (NIT) is not just sad, it is pitiful.
We should carry ourselves as if we are playing some nice, profitable practice games and that is the extent of it. If we were to win this silly practice/pseudo tournament and some neophyte starts posting on both forums about our "championship" I will start punching tickets.
So, does that mean the old spice classic tournament doesn't count either? :)
The Old Spice Tournament was full of teams that are still playing in the NCAA Tournament. Those games count.

Tennessee is still playing? Georgetown made the tourney? Really? Freakin idiot!

SIX TEAMS FROM ’08 OSC SECURE
NCAA TOURNAMENT BERTHS
Gonzaga, Maryland, Michigan State, Oklahoma State, Siena and Tennessee—
When I made my post, Gonzaga, Maryland, Michigan State, Oklahoma State, and Siena were still in the tournament. I believe all but one of those are still in the tourney.
I think that a win over Stanford on Monday could actually propell this team to a high seed for the rest of the tourney.
Bring in OSU to Koch and the home schedule at WSU turns out to be a pretty good one.
Monday night could definitely send this team on to a sweep of the tourney as well.
I'm all in with 22.

A home schedule that is bitter sweet indeed. A home schedule that could only be garnered by having a very mediocre season and being willing to pay to play in a tourney highlight by a couple BCS dregs.
It's always great to have another home game to watch the Shockers, but pardon me if I don't sound excited about how we had to "earn" them.
Here's to never being "invited" to another segregated tournament again!
I'm excited by the upcoming game. Future games will excite me as well. I don't understand the negativity.
I am proud of the progress this young team has made. I wasn't excited by how low we sunk. But the fight of this team pleases me. We are gaining valuable experience and the future of this program is bright.
We earned these games with the fight and progress of this team. Fan support brings this opportunity to Wichita.
I believe those on the floor are bringing national relevance to WSU. While nobody was pleased where we were its time to quit whining about it, move forward and enjoy the ride.

Your comments only bother me because you think you are so "witty" when in reality you are just stupid most times. Spin it however you want, your comment was wrong no matter how you try to defend it. Now go away little one.

Spin? Defend? Everything in your post was factually incorrect.
You got completely owned by your own ignorance. I didn't have to do anything but post a couple facts, sit back, and laugh.
