As with us, we usually sit in row 31 and got row 7 last night (3 tickets). We'll probably only get 2 seats this time so I hope to be in a similar spot.

Re: Up to the fans

Stanford won its three nonconference road games (at Yale, Colorado St., and Santa Clara) in front of a combined total of less than 9000 fans. In Pac-10 play, they lost eight of nine on the road, with the only win an unlikely one at Arizona State, official attendance 9272.
So they haven't won a true road game all year in front of more than 9300 fans. WSU fans need to make sure they get a larger and louder welcome to Wichita than they've yet experienced this season.
Also, to follow up on 21's point about how physical the game is when you see it down close: I've sat in various places in the arena over the years, from high up to down low, with my favorite being about 8-10 rows up behind the basket (the perspective I had for the great comeback against Iowa that set up the Battle at New Orleans). It's true -- there's no way to appreciate fully just how tough and physical a game big-time college basketball can be unless you're close to the action. It really is amazing to behold, and to hear the pounding and grunting that takes place.
Years ago, someone told me that scouts like to sit on the corners, so I moved to a corner from center court. I have been on a corner for about 20+ years and it is great."Prediction is very difficult, especially if it is about the future."

" Ive never seen a foul parade like that...If you would of let me know it was going to be a foul parade I would of brought a different team" .... "dont talk to me about fouls....Ive got to go back and look at some tape... I have some thoughts but I need to look at the tape and then I will have something very strong to say"

My season tix are row 4. Lower than that and the press row gets in your way.
Sometimes I miss sitting higher as I think you get a better idea of how the plays develop, but sitting close gives you so much more that it's worth the few drawbacks. The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.
