Stanford's coach Dawkins thanked his crowd of only 1243. Lets see how they can play at this place with 7k+.
Could be a surprise for all of them.
7k+?????? If we don't sell out against Stanford on Monday, I'm going hack into WSU's database and find out what season ticket holders didn't go to the game...then toilet paper every single one of their houses. I might need some help, anyone else in?

the official attendence last night was only about 6600, so I wouldn't be suprised if we didn't sell out. But, it is a BCS school....
"Say it slowly and savor it..."
Nothing worse than sCUm/sKUm
The students aren't the only people on spring break. Many families take off with their younger kids, which I'm sure was the reason for the low attendance. I bet the Stanford game is a sellout.
I picked up my tickets about 11:00 am. There were 20 buyers in line. Some people were already trying to move up.
And not succeeding, I hope. I'm gonna take my chances at 6:00 p.m. Friday and see if I can do better than my season tickets. I sat in lower bowl and it is a completely different perscpective. Much more physical game down lower.
Stanford won its three nonconference road games (at Yale, Colorado St., and Santa Clara) in front of a combined total of less than 9000 fans. In Pac-10 play, they lost eight of nine on the road, with the only win an unlikely one at Arizona State, official attendance 9272.
So they haven't won a true road game all year in front of more than 9300 fans. WSU fans need to make sure they get a larger and louder welcome to Wichita than they've yet experienced this season.
Also, to follow up on 21's point about how physical the game is when you see it down close: I've sat in various places in the arena over the years, from high up to down low, with my favorite being about 8-10 rows up behind the basket (the perspective I had for the great comeback against Iowa that set up the Battle at New Orleans). It's true -- there's no way to appreciate fully just how tough and physical a game big-time college basketball can be unless you're close to the action. It really is amazing to behold, and to hear the pounding and grunting that takes place.

Just call and ask.
Also I had the option to upgrade when I picked up my tickets.

There are some season tickets being released: These are ones where a season ticket holder has 8 tickets but only buys 5 for the game, the other three are released. I could only move down 3 rows right now, so I will wait to see what tomorrow brings.
Loved my row 5 for Buffalo.. and I should be down loooow again.I wont bring 4 with me this time just myself and my big yapper...GO SHOX
1/16/2010 on the "Screw at the Q" HCGM... " Ive never seen a foul parade like that...If you would of let me know it was going to be a foul parade I would of brought a different team" .... "dont talk to me about fouls....Ive got to go back and look at some tape... I have some thoughts but I need to look at the tape and then I will have something very strong to say"
I usually sit in row 30, got down to row 8 for Buffalo, went today to get my tickets and for Standford I am in row 9.
I usually sit in Row 30 as well. Loved my Row 13 seats at center court. When I called this afternnon, the lowest they could get me was Row 28, but I need 3 tickets so that could be the problem. As I said, I will call sometime tomorrow to see if it is any better. If not I will take my chances at 6:00 along with the other half of Shocker Nation.
