I like Tony Martin for the best. He was a bad-ass.

Aaron Hogg was MVC NOC and 6th Man in 2003.

Also, although the teams were spotty, Robert George was a pretty good player.
“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

There was a player for Harry Miller named Wilson. He ended up playing several years in the NBA.

Bob Wilson was the best Shocker player from the Juco ranks in my opinion in terms of stats. He averaged 17.7 ppg followed by 20.0ppg with a field goal % of .535 and .883 on frre throws during the 73-74 Season. He lead the Shocks in assists in 72-73 with 3.3 assists per game. It did not surprise me that he played in the NBA.

In terms of a player that made a big impact on team success, I liked Tony Martin. He was injured before the KU game(Battle of New Orleans) and a doubtful starter for that game as I recall. However, when he did play, I felt like that gave our team a big boost and got in the Jayhawks head.

Speaking of Robert George, he was on of my favorites to watch. If only Skip Nickerson would have stayed here, those 2 guards teaming together in our backcourt would have been extremely special.

+ 1 on the "Rattle Snake" Robert George. One of my fondest memories from the decade of suck was his 3 against Tulsa.

Robert George would fake opponets out to the max while driving to the hoop with that fake behind the back pass. Then he would lay it in with ease.

                      Gaylon Nickerson!

No wait, he went from WSU to Juco.

Well, he's probably the best that did the reverse thing.

tony martin gets my vote, came in and ran the shockers offense pretty well, scored when he had to and was a stopper on defense.

maybe the best point guard that came from WSU was a player who never played the point in college. Warren (Armstrong) Jabali was so gifted an athlete he played every other position for WSU including the post in certain games. He was a very good point guard in the ABA for years. He would have been scarey good as a point guard if he had a team with talent in college. I do not believe he ever made all-american on any of the numerous AA teams. But i would vote to retire his # and hang it from the rafters in Koch.

                            Huh?

I think you got lost, shuffler. Armstrong / Jabali wasn't a juco player, which was what this thread was about.

Way to set him up to be a bust. Just remember how great Gal Mekel was going to be.
