The NCAA has approved lesser situations for the likes of Maryland I believe. It was one of those eastern schools. Mr. Coy had had some health problems but he'd battled those for years from my understanding. After the stoke (which I believe was a new occurance) he felt the need to get closer. This SHOULD have been approved and if it's not reversed it just goes to show the NCAA for what it is.

It's like the hot girl in class. You can walk up to her and ask her to go back to your place for a quickie. Chances are she'll slap you, but, if by that small chance, she says sure .... Crabs!“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'”

He commented that he didn't know what they did down at Arizona State but that Johnny was struggling at times realizing how hard they practice and how physical the play is here.
I caught that also... very interesting comment.
In that case, Kerry R. should become his best friend all summer long. The College game is not as physical as the NBA, but it is not far from it.

One word, punctuation.
Now, Herb will make his 7th appearance (in his 17th season as a head coach) in the NCAA tournament this season, his first in 3 years with his new team.
That will tie him with Gregg Marshall (7 in 11 seasons as a head coach) in tournament appearances.
Anything else, genius? Listen more, post less and save your uniformed opinions for someone who cares and (here's a hint) they aren't on this board.
Next.....

A word to the wise here -- when posting on another team's message board, particularly if you want to blend in and not admit you are not a fan, don't post things that are gonna piss the home town folk off. In case you haven't figured it out yet, the posters on this board are very, VERY protective of their coach. We happen to like him and we like his style and frankly, most of us hope he stays a good long while. As for you, you have my permission to leave NOW.

P.S. I have documented my dual WSU/KU allegiances in the past and hold nothing against KU fans in general; however it’s apparent that some of them are simply dumbsonsabiatches."You Just Want to Slap The #### Outta Some People"

Having that conversation will get you nowhere. Living in the KC metro, it's commonplace to have that discussion. Each time, I feel like I have to do so much explaining that it just isn't worth it. With the media pumping the Big 6 Conferences so much, not many take the time to truly understand basketball or athletics in general. It's really just a waste of time.

NCAA denied Johnny's appeal
No deal
The NCAA turned down Coy's request for an eligibility waiver and his appeal of that denial. It is now up to the family if it wants to consider legal action.
As it stands, Coy will be eligible to play basketball at the end of the fall semester, missing perhaps six to eight games. He will be eligible for baseball in 2010.
Coy, from St. Joseph, Mo., transferred from Arizona State in January to be closer to his father, who has a history of health problems.
WSU associate athletic director Korey Torgerson said the NCAA denied the appeal because Richard Coy's health problems were diagnosed before his son attended ASU and because Johnny Coy is not a primary caregiver.
"We knew it was going to be tough," said Dickie Coy, his older brother.Follow me on twitter: https://twitter.com/Shox_KCfan
