Buying CBI tickets (Updated!)

I'm not sure what it means since KGSO said only about 8000 tickets have been sold, but goshockers.com is not showing any tickets still available for tonights game. I tried to call and they are closed or at least the phone system says that they are closed.

Looks like Diet Coke, Doritos and a headset at home for me.

Do they normally shut down the online a couple hours before game time? I'm sure there are tickets still available, you just have to walk up now.

As to my earlier situation. My boy and I were at Wendys eating dinner when my friend called to tell me that he cant find ANYBODY to go with him to the game tonight.

I feel bad so I say dude screw it. Meet me there. Im giving my ticket to my girlfriend so her and my son are sitting in 123 row 13 and ill be up in 108 row 21.

Big Daddy ASM has just put in his contacts so ill be able to see every blown call by them striped summbeeches miss. Every Ramo dunk and all the crevices of the dance team uniforms.

Terrible numbers indeed, BUT like I said I don't care if it was 5,000 or 10,000 as long as they were loud. And for the most part the 6,600 were pretty good. We have had some worse atmosphere's with a sold out crowd this year...that's for sure.

Now I do expect more next game though! COME ON WICHITA!

KSU had 8000+ at there game tonight. Tulsa had around 4000.

I just wanted to follow up on my original post...

Sexton was out and about, as always, during the double header on Tuesday. As he walked by I thanked him for getting back with me so quickly on that e-mail and he thanked me and shook my hand and that was that.

Well tonight I got to the game super early since I walked over from the baseball win. When I got in there were still some VERY choice seats in the student section so I grabbed some there. My wife, still not too far off from having the baby, enjoyed them but was having trouble standing by the end of the first half plus there was a tall guy in front of her short self. She spied some row 2 seats across the arena so we moved there at half.

Shortly into the second half Sexton came down and sat behind me in an empty seat. In my e-mail I mentioned that there probably wasn't a price I wouldn't pay for my Sect 115, Row 34 seat, so when he found me in row 2 I turned to him as he sat down and said "Uh oh, I'm busted now. You know where I really sit!" He laughed, said he saw me and wanted to thank me again.

So anyways, this still fairly new AD of ours is a pretty cool dude.

It would be nice to sell out the KOCH on Monday night for the Stanford game. We don't get many BCS teams in here.

BTW- Our 6600+ looked pretty good on national TV. The announcers commented several times about the great atmosphere. It had to be a lot better atmosphere than the 1243 who attended the game at Stanford produced tonight.

I wonder if the gametime will have much to do with the amount of tickets sold for monday?? does anyone know when that will be announced
