Right cause last time I checked Omaha was a huge market.

Take your striped overalls off, put away the dvd highlighting the one big win over florida in the ncaa's and pushback the keyboard. Go outside and take a deep breath. Your just mad cause your bluejays got left out of the dance.

Guys, Matt is correct, Omaha is a larger media market than Wichita. They have at least 9 sports stations, at least thats what I gather from Matt being in 9th place in the ratings. I don't think we have that many stations.

I asked this in the other thread and maybe it was answered and I missed it.

Other than just being a huge BJ homer, why does Matty P seem to hate HCGM? I really don't pay attention to anything Omaha so I had never heard of this guy until his comments on HCGM were linked here recently.

Did HCGM kill his dog or something?

Ya that one seed in the NIT is a heartbreaker when I compare it to the great spot you got in the CBI. And yes compared to Wichita, Kansas Omaha is a pretty decently sized market. :goshocks:
            lets go jays!

Matt interviewed Gregg last year on his show. It was a strained interview at best. Matt was mis pronouncing names, misquoitng won loss records, all the while Gregg had him on a speakerphone. Matt started with the name calling right after the interview and hasn't stopped.

Wichita, though, has more people intelligent enough to listen and understand.
"I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. I like to win more than 99.9% of the people in this world, but he may top me." -- Gregg Marshall 12/23/13 :peaceful:

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

That doesn't mean there are 9 sports stations. It means there were 8 other radio shows listened to more than him during his time frame, be it news talk, sports, music, how to quilt, etc. Glancing through the BJ thread about his being let go it seems that he got beat by the Spanish radio station.

                        God your dumb

                        Omaha number 72 radio market
                        Wichita number 99 radio market

I mean Omaha is right behind such market giants as fresno, tulsa, knoxville.

Go away you clown, were both mid size midwestern cities. problem is you clowns don't realize it.

Well, does it really matter if you're not in the NCAA tourney? We both are playing at home in a tournament other than the NCAA's. But when you look at the fact that CU was the Valley preseason #1 and WSU the preseason #9 really only one of us had a heartbreaker.

As for comparing cities...you're right, Omaha is bigger! You guys are the 47th biggest city and we're the 50th! Congrats on your 3 spots! However we're pretty much featured in the top 10 of every survey in money magazines for best places to live.

This is very fine quotable material for a potential rebuttal.

                              Might consider re-vising.
