Hubert absolutely slams The Valley

The BCSers at ESPN are at it again.
Hubert Davis took as many shots at Creighton and The Valley as he could during his 15 seconds of vomit.
Don't get me wrong - I'm no fan of Creighton. But Davis went out of his way to claim CU has no quality OOC wins and 'padded' their record during Valley play.
I guess he didn't check CU blew out Dayton, both have the same record and everybody has Dayton in. Add in the Valley is a stronger league than The A-10 and Dayton finished the year 6-5 in their last 11.
Digger listened and finally had to chime in his support for... Arizona.
They are as predictable this time of year as the IRS. 8)

Hmmm maybe they are in. If it's Lunardi...he usually gets pretty accurate between today and just before the selection show. Anything before today is pretty much crap.

If you want to go off Lunardi, you probably have to wait for his annual 3-4 o'clock switch, where something randomly pops into his head about bubble teams and he ends up getting them all right. If Creighton is still there after that, then they're probably in.

Lunardi gets inside info from the selection committee or someone with ties to it. I think anyone can pick most of the teams with a little research. But, the way he "changes his mind" right before the selection show without any legit reasoning smells of inside info.

The bottom line is the Valley needs to schedule stronger like we have in the past. Once you strengthen your schedule you then need to win. The Valley had no marquee wins.

Easier said than done. Outside of the early tournaments there aren't many options for Valley schools. The teams that would provide marquee wins won't play.
