The refs were actually able to determine you can't shoot a 3, miss a tip-in, have the ball be tipped out and be involved in a scrum for the ball at half-court in 2.3 seconds. I think that's more than can be said for the MVC.

Had Griffin made that shot, look out! Since he missed and the ball never went out of bounds, it was a no brainer. Very fortunate the shot did not go in.

I think if Griffin had made the shot, it still should've counted...If the tip-in had gone in, I'd think that would have created more of a fuss. I'd have to look at it again though since I can't remember exactly what happened.

But had Griffen made the shot the question becomes is there any time and if so how much. I don't think anybody would question if his shot was valid or not.

How embarrassing. OU fans controlling the clock down there?

The thing that makes this one different is the officials got together after the game and made sure everything was legit before making the ruling. The Valley refs ran away like little babies. The ironic thing is the WSU-sCUm ending warranted more of a ref get-together at the end than this one did. A shot didn't even go in.

I had every confidence in John Higgins getting it right although I don't think he was the lead.

However, I thought he made a BRUTAL call with 2.3 left.

100 fouls in the last 3 minutes, somehow they decided to call one, and only one of them. Officals chose to decide that game, make no mistake about it.

Isn't it obvious that the Big 12 has a conspiracy to get in 6 teams?

Maybe the WSU-CU debacle has created an impetus on the clock and our misfortune has everyone's eyes peeled. Just a thought.

This screw up was much more obvious than the St. Louis defecation.

called a foul on two guys going for a rebound if like 3 seconds to go.. Never is that called. then the sooners throw the ball deep and there was just as much contact when griffin caught the ball but no call.
