Unless there is a clock malfunction there is no reason to screw up the end of a game. Should be on the edge of their seat and totally focused.

Any old timers remember when we had no horn and the old guy would sit behind the table and watch the clock. Would shoot the starters pistol off when he saw zeros. There were times I think he fell asleep and someone would have to nudge him.
