Modern day "Hoosiers" from North Dakota State

For the 3 years NDSU has come to WSU for Baseball I have been impressed with their fan base. Fargo to Wichita is not a great trip.

Their coach was on 810 this morning, and told about their football team playing Minnesota in the Metrodome a couple of years ago. They had 35,000 fans at the game. They sound hardcore - like Shocker fans.

The radio guys in KC are not taking them lightly. Bill Self said yesterday, they have at least 4 games of them on tape. No one is taking them lightly.

Sorry, I won't cheer for any school over an in-state school unless of course the Shox (or another Valley school) is playing that in-state school. I will cheer on KU. I can't, however, take K-State over Indiana State. I may possibly redeem myself with you KU haters if I tell you I cheered on Bradley in their win over KU in the first round of the NCAA a couple years back.

I know a number of KU fans nervous over this one. NDSU will have the crowd behind them for sure so that may help. That and the fact that they won't be intimidated by KU considering they've faced off against some pretty good teams over the last couple of years. They shouldn't be in awe.

Oops. My bad. Trying to post from work so don't always have time to proof. I STILL won't cheer for K-State in that game. If they get past ILLINOIS State, then I will start cheering for them.
