The biggest takeaway I had was the caller who said Dana Altman had the look of someone who was "running scared" for the last 10 minutes of the game.

Marshall replied, "I think that's a good look for him."

Marshall is a master at making sure on the hand, he doesn't give someone else 'bulletin' board material, while at the same time, making pretty obvious points to us fans on how he feels about things. I love it.

I liked the discussion about the CU loss and how that can serve as motivation for next year. He talked about how they might need to paste 1.9 all over the locker room. he also told the story of his son coming into the locker room and reminding him of the last shot loss to Tennessee in Greensboro in 2006, and how it motivated Winthrop the following year to advance in the 2007 dance.

Gregg on X.....has a good shooting kid in high school. X is a bit of a space eater these days and not the skywalker he used to be.

I am super pumped! I love HCGM's intensity and confidence. I have no doubt that next season we will be kicking some F N A! I cannot see how our players don't work their butts off this off season and come out on fire. I don't care about the rest of the Valley...maybe they will pick us to finish 6th. I went to Applebees. Not my favorite place in the world to eat but I said this weekend I wanted to thank HCGM in person and I was glad I did.

Awesome guy and I hope there is one more coaches show this year with him. Otherwise I hope he takes me up on my free beer offer.

One nugget I haven't seen mentioned here. HCGM thinks that we are eligible for both tournaments and there has been contact with both, whatever that means.

As Marshall said this, everyone at Applebee's started cracking up. That was PRICELESS!

I got there late so I didn't get to sit with the cool kids :( But I had my radio and I was still listening in. Everyone in our non cool kids section looked at me funny when I started cracking up for no particular reason. Of course I also randomly started clapping a few minutes later.

But hey, the waiter brought me a balloon and told me I was special and welcome back any time!
