  • Gregg Marshall on Sports Sunday (March 8)

Bruce Haertl will sit down with Gregg Marshall on Sports Sunday tonight. It's pre-recorded. They showed highlights on the 5:30 news. You can guess what they're going to talk about.

Unfortunately coaches are muzzled by the NCAA rules (you can't criticize officials without consequences). I always watch Sports Sunday. It will be interesting to see what transpires.

I can't wait to hear what Gregg has planned for his Spring garden. I am curious as to what kind of crop rotation he uses for optimal growth.

      Did I guess wrong?

Looks like he'll have time to get the lettuce, potatos and radishes planted. Maybe next year all he'll have time for is tomatos and pumpkins.

Did HCGM happen to mention his most effective composting method or his favorite fertilizer, bluejay poo perhaps?

The comment about Creighton getting demolished at the beginning put a smile on my face.

However why in the world do they need to play the audio from the highlight clips while HCGM is talking? Atleast put the audio down to 50% or something. I could barely hear what he was saying while they had HL clips running. Very irritating.

I thought the biggest thing was Haertl allegation that the MVC intentionally was doing things to hurt WSU basketball and WSU athletics in general.

He's said he doesn't buy into those conspiracy theories but can see where they come from.

I don't think the clock thing was intentional but do think that whoever the operator was should not be allowed to run it again.

Interesting. Maybe the Shockers are shopping around for another conference afterall which has torqured off the Valley Commish.

Bruce did keep mentioning that the camera that would have had the best view of the floor underneath the basket has not been made public, which he found really odd.

I was at the game and haven't read through all the posts of the game and clock management disputes, therefore, forgive me if this has been discussed. But, I heard that several of the bigger conferences have remote clock operation done by the referees so that the clock can be controlled immediately when the whistle is blown. Any idea if this might be coming to the MVC as a result of this situation?

Surely Koch is set up for that already. When WSU played at OkSt back when it was still a cracker jack box, the referees could control it. That was in 2000 I believe.
