I don't think that MSU is being given enough credit. They may be picked last, but they'll finish around 7th or 8th.

I know. It didn't make alot of sense. But I think you got what I was saying. They're not gonna be the worst team next year, and could possibly avoid playing on Thursday in St. Louis.

With Creighton, Bradley, and IllSt all losing their best player, that happens to be 1st team all MVC, I see them all sliding a bit in the pre-season polls.

1. UNI, only lose Travis Brown (5.2 ppg) of note.
2. Creighton, they still have players and name recognition
3. Ill St, Osiris is likely the player of the year in 09-10, lose Oguchi, Halloway, and Sampay
4. WSU, Only lose Clemente...will look good replacing him with Blair (similar stats last year), Coy, Hamilton, and growth of Durley. I don't think 4th is far fetched for media predictions!
5. SIU, loses Mullins (was out for quite a while) Boyle and Clemmons. Could flip-flop with WSU
6. Bradley, will not be nearly as good without Wilson and the big men. Could exchange with SIU or WSU
7. Drake, Keeping Josh Young is helpful.
8. InSt, only loses Tunnel. Still not very good
9. Evansville, losing Ely and Holsinger
10. MSU, lose Cooks, Knap, and the Lauries...don't look good on paper (except for Weems!)
