Horrible, horrible......fans (CU)

Dignity was not a part of Creightons college fanbase tonight. Usually when i go to the MVC tourney, the fans you meet are very nice, and rather perky. However, the college kids from CU were downright putrid.

Throughout the entire game, i would look over to see student after student getting (literally) dragged out of the stands by their shirts because they were so drunk. The overall attitude they had to our fans was a mess. Amidst the cursing, the gestures they were throwing out had no better place to stay than a back alley in Omaha.

I was disgusted, and talked to more than 1 fan in the Westin lobby tonight that was going to write a letter to the MVC, and the AD for CU. Good job shox, better luck next season. :good:

My daughter told me after the game when I asked why she was crying, and I quote "Dad, I'm not crying because we lost because the kids showed a lot of courage. I'm crying because some of their fans showed the middle finger to us."

Mr. and Mrs. Korver are class acts...that's the only positive I can pass along about CU fans. IMO, I have never met worse fans at the tourney.

Best fans...Mo. State, UNI, DU probably in that order.

CU fans were making indecent gestures at one game to my family...yes my five year old and one year old girls. What was worse was that other CU fans witnessed this and thought it was funny. Made quite the impression on me but that was a few years ago.

I have to second the title of 'moron' to the CU faithful.
I have never understood the level of dispise WSU held against CU - until today.
The majority are basic vermin and should be sterilized ASAP to prevent future broods.
We did meet a few that were actually civil and mature. But the students were essentially drunken animals in desperate need of an ass kicking. 8)

Let me add that in no way am I vilifying all of the CU fan base. However, I will say this......I have gone out of my way to be friendly and greet and visit with as many fans from other schools that I can.

Every single person that I have visited with has been polite and pleasant....except some CU fans.....I don't know if I am just unlucky or they are really limited in their people skills or what it is......

BUT IF OUR STUDENTS OR FANS EVER ACT LIKE THAT, ME AND ABOUT 100 OF THE MEANEST DUDES I CAN FIND ARE GOING TO TAKE THEM OUT BACK AND WHOOP THEM WITHIN AN INCH OF THEIR LIVES.
