  • Load up for St Louis

Brother and I are hitting the road at 6AM. Let's get a crowd to send those BJ's 'limping' home!!!

Just got a great deal on Hot Wire 2 nights at Hilton at the Ball Park for a total of $139---awesome and easy walking distance.

Load 'em up and get to the 'Lou!!!!!!

It sounded really loud tonight with the Shocker contingent.. and this was just a play-in game.

If we could get this to feel like a 'home' game against CU.. then all bets are indeed off.

    Man, I wish I could go.. :(
    Deuces Valley.
    ... No really, deuces.

Ask fans from other schools to cheer for us. People like to cheer for underdog, don't they?

Speaking of loading up for the game...Does anyone know the ticket situation? Do we have to wait until just before game time to buy tickets? All times I have been I bought the all session passes.

Yes, they sell beer @ Scottrade. Although, bring your wallet because a 24 oz costs $9.

Your best bet is the 'combo platter.' $20 will get you a big beer and a mixed drink. Don't forget about bar golf on the way to Scottrade.

:D I'll have to check out this 'combo platter' you speak of. If only chicken strips were part of the deal...

Is bar golf a public or private game?

Why aren't you here already? I met some nice folks in the poker room after the game. They gave me a few hundred to enjoy the day tomorrow.

So far my trip has been up and down but the way the men competed last night makes up for just about anything.

Here are a couple of pointers if you are travelling.

Plenty of tickets are available. It's even (more than) a bit tiresome to see the workless/homeless all but assaulting you to either have you give them your unused tickets or sell you their hoard of tickets.

The prices are rediculous. Is every vendor trying to fix the recession in one sale?

Burger and Sierra Mist....$16. Like Marty said, good thing there are bad poker players :good:

So far I have run into fans from UNI, Bradley (lots), SIU (lots) and CU. Drake fans barely showed and likewise MSU, Tree fans were good last night, UE and Redbird fans non existent.

Every fan I have run into has been great. EXCEPT Creighton fan. They cheered against WSU all night...their fans would whine unendingly when MSU would miss a shot...some shouted "air ball air ball" at Toure long after his miss. It gets old BJs.....

Winning tonight would create some interesting "engagements" as it were...............

They personify the new administration....entitlement. Not a one even thinks they can lose. They may be right as they are very talented and playing well, but I believe our kids are ready to play.

The only people who like CU are CU fans.

E: I see this post has a bit of a factor.

I mean to say that no one other than CU fans like CU. Of course CU fans like CU.

That's not the least bit surprising. They think they are so elite it's not even funny. Always complaining about WSU fans and other fans and they're the dickiest ones out there.

I hope sCUm gets a rude wakeup call tonight. That would make my freakin year.

Of course they rooted against us. Would you want to play us or MSU?

It was out of fear! :)
