I'm having trouble jumping onto this bandwagon. The SIU loss was likely demoralizing to the team. They need to recover some confidence. I would have rather had BU in the first round than MSU.

MSU has been a problem for WSU and they are going to want revenge for the way they lost in Wichita. Murry needs to figure out that the goals in other arenas are 10' off the floor, just like in Koch.

I think WSU matches up better against CU than MSU and that the Shox are going to want CU more than MSU.

Winning those 2 is a challenge. I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see InSt take out an upper seed. The 3rd and 4th games could actually be easier than the 1st and 2nd games.

WSU is definitely one of the better conditioned and deeper teams, which is a plus in a league tournament.

Winning a couple of games would really go a long way to improve our chances of playing in one of the also-ran post season tournaments.

Whlile many fans could care less about this I think HCGM would like to have a couple more weeks to work with this young team for the benefit of next year.

Now whether or not the players are all that eager to extend their season I don't know. We will find out Thursday night by how much fire and desire the team shows agaisnt MSU.
