Honestly I'm always a very optimistic person.. but I have a very good feeling about this. Even if we don't win it all, if we make a run I'll be pleased.

Don't even bring up the "but 4 games in 4 days is impossible" part of it. This team already has proven they can conquer the impossible by finishing 8-10 after starting 0-6 and beating some of this year's Valley's best to do it. We went to a tournament earlier in the season where we weren't even supposed to come close to sniffing a win, yet we shocked (no pun intended) everyone.

We beat Siena on a neutral court, a team that destroyed Northern Iowa. On the road we haven't fared well, but this is a NEUTRAL court. We've hung tight with Michigan State on a neutral court, even. Our fans there are going to make noise.

Whew----what a night. Not what we Shocker fans hoped for. Clevin sure play solid with around 26 points, 5 assists and 5 steals. It appears we tied for 5th in actual regular Season Valley games and are seeded 7th. SIU was more effective inside and made around 15 more free-throws than us. I thought we could have gained an advantage inside over them but in both games, they were more productive inside and shot tons of charities. Now it is time to head to the Lu against the Bears who have played us tough both games. :wsu_posters:

Among the 3 teams tied for 5th, SIU went 3-1, Evansville went 2-2 and WSU went 1-3. That was the applicable tiebreaker.

At least we get 87% of our scoring back next year and we add some pretty decent talent.

Only problem is I'm not sure who in the valley doesn't get better next year?
