  • ISU @ CU

Redbirds are getting JOBBED at the Qwiet Center. A foul on one end is play on on the other.

17-16 Jays as ISU has withstood the first of what I imagine will be several Jay runs.

Surprisingly, P'unk is frustrated that he can't go 1-1 and score every time.

    I agree.

Some horrible officiating. Typical Homerha reffing though.

    P'unk is such an a$$.
    Deuces Valley.
    ... No really, deuces.

        I love it.

CU players dive for loose balls, crashing into ISU players and laying them flat. No foul.

ISU players try to get loose balls. FOUL.

        What a joke.

It's all a big stunt for the Valley-they want the nation to watch our premier team win the Valley(a share is possible) on national tv.

It was 52 all, CU was being out reboundeed by 10, FT were 8 apiece, and CU had 9 more field goal attempts than the redbirds.

So who does everyone want to win this game? It's tough because ISU is probably my second or third fav valley team BUT I'd like to see the Valley get 2 teams in the tournament. Creighton winning this game keeps the possibility alive. Although if Creighton and we both win today the possibility exists that we could be the #1 and #5 seed which means we could face them in the semifinals. I'd rather end up the 6 seed and face the Northern Iowa side of the bracket.

It is impossible to root for Creighton as a Shocker fan. Go birds!

                  WSU first, Valley second.

I would like to stay opposite them in the bracket. Go UNI. Go ISU. The refs aren't gonna let CU lose though. I agree with Shoxfan963.

In most circumstances I agree, but I think I would root for CU over Kansas, Missouri, Kstate, and most Big East, ACC, SEC teams.

That is kind of following up on what Fever said-Shox first, Valley second.

I wouldn't recognize Creighton as Creighton when they are playing Kansas or someone like that. I will call them "Valley Team"

Y'all are so right about the fouls and Punk.

My favorite non-call was in the first half. A Red Bird was dribbling toward his fore court and near the the mid-court line. A Blue Bird gave a fairly hard bump to the Red Bird. The Red Bird lost control of the ball and either he stepped out of bounds or the ball went out of bounds.

No call. Ball over to the Blue Birdies. I thought it was insane.
