Thanks for the wrap up. I really believe the Shockers will finally show the type of effort on the road that we see consistently at home. We've seen flashes of this effort throughout the season but never long enough to pull out a road win. I feel lately they've played well for longer periods of time but can't quite make it a 40 minute push. These guys seem to play better when the stakes are high and, given the circumstances of the season, the stakes can't get any higher Saturday. I sure hope I'm right.

I thought we had the tiebreaker over Evansville since we have beaten Creighton?

We do in heads up. All the multiple tie breakers go against us though if we lose because of the mini pools and sweeps by BU against us and SIU (if we lose).

I think you are missing something. if im wrong dont hang me I have been looking at records for two hours now. We beat SIU and Drake beats Bradley and Northern Iowa beats Evans. We will be tied for 4th with bradley, right? what happens then? (if im right)

I hope I'm not known as the Hangin' Dr.....I did cover that and BU swept us so they get the 4 seed and we get the 5...but it's for uniform color only. Either way we play BU in the 4-5 game.

We'd be the 5th seed. But it would be a fourth place finish in the MVC. something unfathomable one month ago.

Is it just me or does every game for the last several games seem like the biggest game in the last two years for us?

its very simple now....gotta win. I'm not sure there has been this many meaningful games the last day of the season in quite some time. Grab a cold one and get comfy saturday night.

I'm gonna be cheering for the boys to no end on Saturday..

but things are looking bleak..

You guys are right though. No way did I think we'd be in this position a month ago. That's a good way to look at it.

We just need to get this season over with and carry our second half into the beginning of next year.

Gosh darn it.. and to think I thought we actually had a chance to do something special if we could've avoided Thursday. Effing DRAKE! :-x
