  • Bummer...

Can't believe that there's only one home game left this season....had to wait and wait and wait for it to get here and now it's gone.

Oh well...this team has showed a ton of guts down the stretch. Could have easily folded after going 0-6 to start conference play. Now all the games seem to mean something and next year looks to be very hopeful.

The key to next years season is whether we can get a couple of quality wins against BCS opponents. We get Texas Tech and LSU I believe in addition to a good tournament in KC. Win a couple of those games and compete in the Valley and who knows about an at large.

The other key is the other Valley teams need to upgrade their schedules so a loss to another Valley team doesn't become a "Bad" loss. I don't know enough about the other valley schedules to know if other teams are upgrading. Let's hope they do.

Illinois State...you've got too much talent to schedule nothing but patsies.

    CS,

    Couldn't have said it better.

The Shocks turned what could have been a near disaster of a season into a REALLY good time. Going to CKA has been a real treat my whole family has really enjoyed this season. It has been a blast.

I also have to add I have enjoyed watching the improvement in this team from November to February. Too often we've seen teams and individuals plateau and seemingly not get better. Nearly every player has defined his role on this team and improved in that role.

Well said also 85. Making winning the Tuesday night game all that more important. One of the first steps in becoming a dominating force is dominating the home court and making it nearly impossible to be beaten at home. It does seem like across the board improvement from the players.

It's possible WSU could get a post-season home game in one of the minor tourneys. It pretty much requires 3 or 4 more wins this season, but that's doable.

Going into that CU home game, I was feeling pretty numb. Thankfully it was a butt whooping or else I wouldn't have thought it to be real.

These guys got their act together and made it fun to go to the chuck again. I can't wait to get out there Tuesday night and lose my voice.

This has been a great year for the 1,000 or so fans who showed up and picked up whatever seats were still available. I'm part of that group.

It's not going to be that easy to get seats next year. Now I have to look at my budget and try to figure out what level of SASO support I can squeeze out of it. Even the willingness and ability to make a nice SASO contribution might not get a decent spot next year.

not to say these next two games are for sure wins bc they definitely arent but they are very winnable games. Win these two and we gurantee ourselves a winning record. what a huge change from being 6-11 and all signs of anything good gone.

I watched a game with Indiana State this season, and in that game they didn't look too bad at all. They were making a lot of 3's. We sure don't need to overlook them at all.

I've seen only 2 games in person this year. TCU roadie in December and Bradley on New Years Eve.

They are light years away now from where they were then. I mean LIGHT YEARS !!!!!

They should all look back on this as the season they grew up. Clemente is without a doubt the Shockey POY.

                    Next year's POY?

Should be fun to find out.

                    Run the table SHOX !!!!!
