Are there any D-1 senior or junior prospects in the greater Wichita area?

If Blake Bell wasn't 5 star QB recruit and concentrated on the hardwoods he would be a nice hoops prospect. The same could be said as a pitching prospect. I heard yesterday that OU offered him.

Yep. Connor Wood is looking like he'll go to UT, so OU offerred. I'd love to see him in crimson and blue but we're hearing he's a big OU fan and went to several of their games last year. It's interesting that OU may be close to offering Trevor Releford for football as well.

Anyway, I have more interest in basketball talent than football talent.

Neither Scout or Rivals lists any HS prospects from Wichita or the greater area. There are a few in the Topeka, Lawrence, KC area.

Who peed in your cheerios ricky? Not sure what’s wrong with brining up Blake Bell in this post. Everyone knows he’ll play fb in college but kid is having a great bb season and would be a great bb prospect if he chose to go that way.

Isn't it odd that the Wichita area keeps churning out female D-1 basketball players in bunches, but no men?

Not really. What's more disturbing to me is that these D-1 caliber girls are slipping through the Shox hands and going elsewhere. Hopefully coach Adams can change that trend.
