Miller? You mean the Puff-meister himself? I bet he looked soft and cuddly as a freshman! :)

It only took 6 years for him to get mean! :D

I can tell just readin CB's posts that he must suck as an economist.

Economics, the dismal science? Hardly. I'm perfectly suited for it! ;-)

Actually, I'm probably a bit too "bleeding heart" to be a really really good economist!

Maybeif it was a picture without his shirt on Cold would like him as much as another recruit a few years ago.

I bet if we got a look at CB's mug shot we would see the true definition of "soft"....or obese.

Good article on Johnny .... And Cold, you don't average 27 ppg and hit .655 if you are soft. I suspect there is a simmering intensity and competitive streak under Johnny's surface looks.

I am looking forward to watching him play both sports.

Cold, you did a great job of sticking your keyboard in your mouth on this thread. Way to go...you're a great ambassador for SN.

We've learned something in this thread. Coy can pose for a decent picture.

Dang, Cold, who do you want us to recruit - P'unk Stinnett and Dennis "Suckerpunch" Clemente?

Put Coy's face as the upper part of 6'8", 220 lbs. and I bet it looks just a "little" different.

                    Here's one mean-looking hombre

                    4.8 ppg and 1.5 rebounds

I guess Casey Crawford is just more Cold's kind of man - not that there's anything wrong with that.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

Not a slam, just an observation. You always know you are going to get unfiltered opinions from CB. Take it for what it's worth. I'm fairly sure that I was not the only one that thought this when looking at his locker room picture.

The Shocker Nation is never "lucky". Coy was lucky to sign with the Shockers!

And in regards to the Coy deal. Did you really think he was going to choose Drake over us? Drake with no baseball?

Here's some Shocker trivia, which "babyfaced" player has caused the most pain for Shocker fans in recent years. I can think of one right away. He has graduated though.

You are just a touch off.

                          Cold is a man's man.

If that is softness I would take a softy every time. As I understand it, it's not like his dad had his stroke before he went to ASU, then Johnny had second thoughts. It's more like he was at ASU, then there was a serious, life-changing event and he wanted to be there to support his family through what I can assure you is a very grueling ordeal, at a challenging time in his own life, no less. Rather than take the path of least resistance, which would have been to stay the course in Arizona, he decided to go through a difficult transfer process because the young man has his priorities straight. If anything, that is a sign of maturity.

That said, I'm right with you in hoping it was a one-time deal.

One of the 465 or so things I love about this staff. Family matters, and it always will.

And it is not superficial or window dressing. They mean it.
