Yes, we are struggling mightily this season. We have 10 Freshman/Sophomores playing, no big man (we have the A10 rookie of the year sitting out a transfer season while our returning big broke his ankle in the preseason) and our coach has had a tough time finding his way. Please let us know when you are finished with Coach Marshall. We will be glad to have him back!

P.S. I saw a post on here where you guys were impressed with the assist to field goal ratio in your great win against UNI...get used to that. In fact, that is probably the best barometer of whether or not your players are buying into Marshall's system. Winthrop used to be one of the best in the nation in that statistical category. Our point guards would routinely boast Asst./TO ratios of 4.1 or better! Oh how I miss those days...

I feel for Winthrop. They've fallen on hard times this season. Hopefully the young talent there will come along just fine and Coach Peele will get things taken care of. We know what it's like to be young, but at least we have some leadership.

Actually, I think our assist to field goal ratio has always been pretty good, no matter who the coach was.

If you don't have a prolific scorer or two on your team, you'll need a good assist-to-turnover ratio to be successful.
