I was unaware this season had ended. I must have missed the last game. When did it occur?
Did they sneak into STL and play The Valley Tournament overnight? Did WSU get to 6th place? Who did they play? Who won?
Thank you. 8)Above all, make the right call.

Next year Blair. He will be a junior with over a year learning the system and Coy will be a red-shirt freshman who will have spent the summer playing baseball. If Coy doesn't receive the waiver he won't even get to play until sometime in December. I also think Coy and maybe even Blair will end up being combo forwards spending time at the 3 and 4.

I am really excited about the frontcourt game the Shox bring in 09-10 and 10-11 with Blair and Ellis at the four and Durley and Stutz at the five next year and then add in Hamilton and EO the following year with Coy having the ability to mix it up under the basket as well. We should have the on paper advantage against most everyone in the Valley with size, athleticism, experience, skill, talent, you name it! We may not have a 15 and 10 guy, but we should be able to pick our match-ups and ware the other teams out. Then again, any one of those players could develop into a 15 and 10 post over the next two + years.Livin the dream

Blair easily. Size, strength and experience are on his side as well as considerably less need for any adjustment. While I like the skills I have heard of and seen (videos) of Coy, if we consider him as primarily filling the small forward position, I think there will be a fairly significant period of adjustment for him on the defensive end of the floor as he learns how to guard smaller, quicker oponents. The use of smaller, quicker players at the 3 position by other teams will create match up problems that may limit his court time (and accordingly his learning curve). If he is considered primarily at the 4, he will have to become much stronger and develop a post game while trying to take playing time away from several other more experienced players. Either way, I see next year as a year of growth and development for Coy. AND ... I hope he makes me look like an idiot for making this post.

The coaches say that Blair reminds them of Ramon Clemente's intensity and style of play. Coy is going have to compete with Hawkins and some of Hatch next year to even play. Personally, I think Coy is a little overated. Blair will have bigger impact next year due to the fact that Ramon is graduating and the 4 is almost wide open unless Ellis improves even more.
