Soon, Kyles will get his groove on and of course next year----there will be Kenny stealing our foes blind. Coach mentioned the other day that Kenny M. can leap up to the top of the square. Yikes!!!! That will be also 3 guards that can defend!!!!!!!
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

That's true but it seems so odd to me. I grew up in Houston when basketball was what the high school football team played between the end of the football season and the start of football spring training with that funny looking football with no points on the end. It was ugly - lots of elbows and hip checks. Like the Big 10 only much more so. A few high schools - Wheatley comes to mind - played swift elegant basketball but that was wasted on most fans.

It's much different now. Kids pick one sport and that's it for the most part. There is so much D1 talent in Houston it's unreal.

Weems is a nice player now that he's developed an outside shot and I wish we had him.

But not in place of Toure. That's just silly.

That is the freakin' funniest thing I've ever heard in my life.

Stat watch posted weekly on VT going forward please.

Weems was on fire tonight. Must have had some good stuff sent to him by his buddy LaMont "Snoop" Austin.

You know, it's getting to the point where I start thinking, "maybe Toure can save us," in these tight spots. And he does.

There may be more productive freshmen in the Valley right now, but I look at Toure Murry, and I see someone who will be playing professionally in four years. A true freshman with that confidence and those skills ... barring catastrophe, we'll be seeing his jersey in the mall.

TM can play the point and maybe the 2 at the next level. I am not sure what Weems plays at the next level. He is too small
to be a 4 and not sure he is athletic enough to be a three. Toure can drive, shoot the trey and defend. As the cast around him
gets better and his body matures, he will start to garner national attention when the Sox return to the dance.

which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."
