Evansville post-game thoughts.

I had thought about posting a rather lengthy reply but I can sum up my thoughts rather concisely. The Evansville game was more of the same from an inexperienced team, what's done is done, they need to focus on MSU. Better days lay ahead.

I just watched the 2nd half of KU getting beat by a swarming (fouling??) Missouri team. As long as referees allow the reaching bumping and grabbing on defense it will work very well. Missouri plays the defense without fouling much better than UE/EU but still it was evident that the fouls were occurring and KU's All-Americans could not handle the "in your face" with few fouls called defense.

It is my belief that if officiating standards of present day prevailed in the late-90's Coach Randy Smithson's teams would have faired much better. Seriously.
