That was one of the best games I've seen not only in the league, but in college basketball overall this year.

Wow. The Sycs sweep Illinois State on the year and their other conference win is at UNI.

      WTH?

      ... No really, deuces.

I still can't believe what I just witnessed! That was a comeback for the ages.

Tunnel was 8 of 9 from three... dagger after dagger.

And the former regime didn't think Jay Tunnell was a good fit? Wow. 8)

Well, Ref, I'm delighted with the current regime, which I believe is in upgrade over the former, but I still can't let you perpetuate the Tunnell myth. The truth is exactly the opposite -- he was the one who didn't think it was a good fit, because he wanted to commit early someplace where he could play right away, and the Shocks had Miller and Wilson coming back for what would be his freshman year. So he chose to go someplace where he could get lots of immediate minutes, which would not have happened at WSU.

Today was the highlight of Tunnell's career. If he were a Shocker and some of our critics looked at his stats from one year to the next, they'd be complaining that he hadn't developed.

                Watcher,
                True, to a point.
Tunnell did want immediate playing time and it did lead to a snag, but when it came down to working things out (and Tunnell did express a lot of interest in WSU) they couldn't make it happen.
I will give you 110% props on his stats and some of the critics on here. You hit that one on the head. 8)

And CU beat UNI on the road. The boxscore is crazy. UNI shot the ball horribly. (29% FG, 19% 3FG), but scored 7 more at the FT line and outrebounded CU by 20.

It's going to take more than just keeping their shooters at bay to beat the Panthers.

The first is the end of regulation, the second is OT. The second is the doozy. Pretty awesome.

Could you imagine how bad of a meltdown Shockernet would be in, if we blew a 12 point lead with 2 and half minutes left to by far the worst team in the valley.
