Would have rather listened to Mikes take on the officiating.

I watched and listened on Purpleaces' vision. When we were ahead the announcers were sure questioning the officials. They eased off more and more as the game went in favor of Evansville.

Can anyone shut up Bruce Heartl? I would listen to MK but their is too much lag between the tv and radio.

I think MK should do the tv games.

It'd be a lot less painful if we just hooked the radio broadcast up to the TV and let MK take care of both sides.

Well, I'm over this one. I thought we'd have a tough time in this game, but I didn't think we would lose it by people not even playing the game.

Veiled criticism. He mostly contended that our players didn't have the maturity to adapt.

Which is true. They needed to adapt to those crap calls, not play into them.

HCGM said as much as he could about the refs sucking w/o getting himself in trouble.

OK, this was an out-and-out screwing. We got pushed and shoved and grabbed the whole game, and all the fouls were called on us. As is often the case, the last five minutes the officials busted their butts to try and even up the foul numbers. At one point it was....what....20 fouls to 4?

what can you say, when your playing 5 vs 8 it is tough to win. If your a Shocker you have to expect this and just be better.

I should start another thread but since we are sort of on topic...

1. Evansville is my least favorite team in the league. Can't stand them...think that they suck....would like to meet half their players in a dark alley with a (you fill in the blank.) I know, I know, I should rise above the reaction stemming from an out an out mugging, super sub standard officiating and two left over Michelob Marzens from New Years but I can't.

2. Marty Simmons is the main reason for number one. Looks like a slob, acts like a hill billy but apparently can coach a little. Unfortanate representative for the Mo Vall. If his teams make the post season...not many people will think much from his representation...at least in my opinion.

3. Anything can happen but....we needed this game tonight and now it's going to be tough to make up ground. Possible but we're going to need some help. Unfornately, Evansville and Drake are probably the teams I would most like to see in the play in game.

4. I would love a rematch with Evansville and I think our players would also. I am so glad we drilled them on that shot with 8 seconds remaining at home. They deserved it!

Finally, I'm normally not this much of a vindictive ahole but I more about the officiating on both the radio and tv tonight than I did the actual game. That's an indicator of the situation. I don't any calls...I just want the calls to be made evenly?
