Didn't we win 11 last year? I think we're tied with last year's win total, but the good news is, we're well on our way to beating that record by multiple games.
Maybe a flashback from the 11-11-11 Trivia thread along with a road win versus Evansville, then Cap. feeling and predicting some more home wins to follow is what the good Doc will order.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.
I remember all the posts about Turgeon improving WSU's W/L record 6 straight years. Marshall has year 2 of that process under control, even though he lost 3 Sr starters and another starter in year 2.
There is a point past which it is very difficult to improve a team's record. To improve a W/L six consecutive years requires small steps, or the plateau gets reached in less than 6 years.
I dont think Marshall will improve his record at WSU for 6 consecutive years, or that WSU fans will complain because he didn't.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades. We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.
Technically, we have 10 wins. Don't count the non-D1 game against North Dakota. We will undoubtedly eclipse our 11 win mark of last year which is all I ask, constant - steady improvement by GM and the Shox culminating into an Elite 8 apperance in 3 years ( we have to one up what MT did right?).
I thought they are a continget D1 team going through the evaluation period until 2011? The RPI sites such as WarrenNolan.com shows them as a non-D1 team. Help me out here.
We are officially one win better than last year! Every win from here out is improvement!
Congrats Coach Marshall!
We've only one 10 D1 games...2 more to go before we improve on last year's total.

Yeah, they're non-D1. I just checked www.kenpom.com to verify and he has them listed as non-D1. I also double checked our win total from last year which was 11 wins against all D1 opponents.

I stand corrected. I was thinking of NDSU who is suprisingly 16-5 with RPI of 98.
