Like I said earlier, I didn't need them to point out the obvious. Toure Murray made a key stop on Marshall late in the game after Marshall had beaten him a number of times prior to that. It was almost like the Evansville game when Toure hit the winning 3 with 8 sec's left. Prior to that, he was about 0 for 5 in 3-pt shot attempts. Your position is that the Shocks defense didn't have much to do with Ind State missing their shots in the 2nd half. Since you mention Bruce, that shows that you watched the game on TV. I thought maybe you listened to it on the radio instead.
The Shocks pressure defense has been a factor in all 5 of their most recent wins. It didn't show up in the Bradley game on the road though.Comment

Just curious -- why would anyone think that ICT316 is Steve Eck?
I don't see any evidence in his profile, and even if he claimed to be Eck that doesn't mean it's true? My guess is that Steve is a little busy for this kind of stuff these days, and it also strikes me that ICT's comments don't show the basketball sophistication one would expect of such an extraordinarily successful coach.
Certainly the avatar doesn't tell us anything, any more than Shirley Schmidt's former use of a picture of Gene Stephenson indicated that he/she was Gene.Comment

SIU @ MSU- A week ago I picked SIU to win. Now Bryan Mullins is out, there are only 8 healthy dogs on the team, and Missouri St. beat a non-injured Evansville at home last Wednesday. Barry Hinson always liked the Shockers, maybe that rubbed off on his players and they want to see us out of the play in.
Bradley @ Drake- So far Bradley is 3-3 on the Valley road. Drake also holds a 3-3 record at the Nap Center. Both come into the game after losses on their home courts. I think Bradley is the better team and should take this game over a slumping opponent but this will be interesting game to follow.
WSU @ Evansville- This topic has been beaten to death on SN so there is not much else to say besides we have the ability to beat EU as long as we rebound, defend, and cut down on turnovers.
Go shocks, if we play hard and smart the win should follow. If not, EU played one hell of a game and they deserve the win.Comment
