  • Good News goes to the Gutter, I mean Qatar!

Prior to taking the reins of the Qatar national team, both Davidson and Levingston had enjoyed long and illustrious basketball careers. Shortly after graduating from college, Davidson began a coaching job at an area high school and has been pacing sidelines for over 35 seasons since. For the past 8 years, he has been a head coach in the National Basketball Association’s Developmental League, helping top prospects hone their skills and prepare for the rigors of the NBA. Levingston, meanwhile, upon graduating from Wichita State University in 1982 (where he was actually coached by Davidson), was selected 9th in the annual NBA draft. He went on to have a 13 year NBA career, including winning two championships with the Chicago Bulls in the early 1990’s. Since the end of his playing days, Levingston has transitioned to the world of professional coaching as well, switching between various leagues such as the CBA, the ABA, and the USBL.

I don't remember Davidson on Smithson's staff, anyone know how long he was here?
