Great to see that they're recognizing our skills as a team, and that the first half of the season wasn't who we truly are. As for this season being shot, I'm not completely sold on that fact, I think we have a big chance coming into the tournament hot. However I think we're picking up a lot of nice momentum for the off season and the 09-10 season.

Picked sixth

Interesting that conference leader UNI was picked sixth before the season.

Who knows how they'll finish -- they have a history of running out of gas -- but that preseason pick may be something WSU fans will want to keep in mind next year when the Shocks will no doubt be at best a middle of the pack selection ready to sneak up on some people. (And, depending on how it goes next season, maybe even the year after, although I for one don't expect the Shocks to be sneaking anywhere after next year.)

There were several errors.

yes but also several insights that only a close observer or someone that talked to a close observer would know about a 9-11 team. the fact about reggie falling out of the rotation bc murry handles the ball better and kyles probably would have redshirted under normal circumstances but can really create problems for people with his defense. If he "gets it" watch out! he can be another very huge piece of the puzzle

A ton of errors but it might be alright for someone that doesn't follow MVC basketball all that closely.

no outside newspaper is going to follow the valley as close as we do. mistakes are inevitable. get over it. honestly if you were a editor for a national newspaper would you assign someone to a league that more than likely will only get one bid this year to the NCAA. Its ok for a few mistakes. we dont need to be pissed off about someone writing something inaccurate about us and throw a fit. Now the criticism about Parsons is very understandable since he is one of us and should know better.
