        One correction:

Beating Evansville was NOT an upset. Creighton maybe, Illinois State yes. Evansville.. an emphatic NO.

No matter how much our team is underrated in OUR eyes, going into the game we were 2-6, and 8-11. Evansville was 4-4, and 12-6. On paper it was an upset. And if you look at how the game was played, we squeeked by with that win, and definitely didn't prove to anyone we deserve to be classified as the opponent who should have won that contest.

Until we prove ourselves in the back half of conference play, I am agreeing we upset Evansville.

              :-x :-x

No, no, no. I don't care if we're 0-17 and EU is 17-0, we should never lose to EU, especially at home. That's a fact of life.

              About this game specifically:

1.) We were favored in the game
2.) We had won 2 straight over decent teams
3.) EU sucks on the road and has been for the last 7 years.
4.) We had won 7 straight over EU at home going into the game.
5.) We had won 11 of the last 12 games against EU overall going into the game.
6.) EU's record was padded with home cupcake specials.

No youngin. This was certainly NOT an upset.

I believe the line in Vegas was WSU minus 6, so no, we did not upset Evansville.
