Not quite yet IMO. His all-around game just isn't there for 1st team All-MVC. During Valley play he is tied for 3rd in scoring average at 14.4ppg, but he isn't near the top in any of the other major statistical categories. Now, if he keeps improving and can get that scoring average up to 17 and the Shockers can get their conference record up to .500 it might be a different story. However, he is a lock to be on the All-Freshman team and the Freshman of the Year is pretty much down to Dillard or Murry. A case can me made for Moran from UNI, but I just don't think he is at the same level as Dillard or Murry.

Toure' will win Freshman of the year. No doubt in my mind. Note that he's getting better with each game. That doesn't mean he's scoring more points every game, but he's contributing more and meaning more and more with each game he plays.
Sunday was just another step in his development. When his shots don't fall for most of the game, he pulls it together when it counts the most.
Having 3 more years with him is going to be such a luxury for Shocker Fans! :yahoo:

In Valley play only Dillard is 2nd in the MVC in scoring average at 16ppg and Murry is tied for 3rd at 14.4ppg. It's going to be a battle between these two all season long. Right now I give the edge to Dillard, but Murry is going to make him fight for it.

This link is very helpful in comparing murry to dillard.
Dillard is miles ahead of Toure' in shooting categories, besides free throws which Toure' leads by 3%. Toure' is better in rebounds, blocks, and steals though Dillard has 81 assists compared to TM's 47 (KD does have morn turnovers though).
