Excuses... excuses.... excuses. Do unto others as you would like for them to do to you. This thread would be full of people hating another coach for acting that way against Wichita State. Don't say it wouldn't.... don't even try. I've been here long enough to know how a majority of WSU fans would treat that sort of outburst. GM thought it was "bullpoo" (edited for the kiddys) when Bradley's player drained that 3 to give them a 15 point win the other day. Maybe karma came back to get him? Perhaps GM should view the tape of how Evansville's coach celebrated after their half court buzzer beater to beat Drake?

        BA

Whine, whine, whine, BA. Would you care for a little cheese with it?

Armchair hindsight of the sort you've offered is easy. When you're an emotional, spontaneous guy as Marshall is, measuring the intensity of your celebrations to satisfy the pompous critics in the audience is not. The fact is that he's going to do things you don't agree with (or that I don't agree with, as in the case of chastising Bradley's mad three-point bomber). Too bad -- learn to deal with it.

I don't know what your agenda is but you seem to have one. I doubt that your agenda is to upgrade the status and behavior of WSU fans, athletes, and coaches thus placing them into a upper class of schools that is worthy of your patronage and support. Coaches are not robots that you can turn and off. In my opinion, his behavior isn't stepping over the line of acceptable behavior.

This whole country has come down to have fun but please oh please don't hurt anyones feelings. . GM expressed his emotions and feelings and does not have to apologize to anyone. Parsonanetta can say what he wants, but so can I. If you don't like it then beat my butt next time we play.
We need a little old school around here.

Parson's gave his opinion ... some agree ... most disagree. I'm mostly stunned that he couldn't find something more significant on which to comment ... almost like he went a little out of his way to call attention to this. GM is an emotional coach and he showed it ... next topic.

Can't help but wonder if JP will have something stupid again to say about GM's excited response to our win against Missouri State. If he knows whats good for him, he'll keep his mouth shut. After all, we didn't play against Missouri State in that game, it was Wichita State vs. The Refs... :wsu_posters:

I'm still not sure why everyone thinks the MSU officiating was so bad. When I watched the game I barely noticed them.

May we bid this thread "adieu"?

At Ballard’s Sporting Goods in Aggieville, this season’s popular purple T-Shirt with the “Welcome to Huggieville” greeting had already been replaced with a newer line known as “Welcome to Traitorville.” “Welcome Back to Loserville” might be a more appropriate selection. - msnbc 4/7/07
