#1 for Illinois State was lost in space last night. I have never in my life seen any player bring the ball in to themselves for a turnover?

Then he nearly was hit in the side of the head with a soft pass that just missed him and went out of bounds for another turnover...maybe the crowd noise was getting to him or something.

Anyway, it gave me flash backs of the Scott Thompson era and our team. Thank god those days are behind us.

I realize that all teams suffer these brain farts from time to time but that first one was friggin funny.

I think you are right about the crowd bothering him. I have never seen that before either. I sat there and was like, did that just happen or... then the whistle blew and it was true. very funny!!! :shock:
