PHS gave out yellow "GO SHOCKERS!" t-shirts at a game several years ago. I still see several at just about every game we attend.

Even with the date and opponent on them I bet they get worn quite a bit, particularly by students.

I'll probably wear a black shirt Wednesday.

Though on TV, yellow makes the arena look more "packed in", especially when it's full. It would be interesting to find out what opposing players think.

We requested it again this year and it was granted to see how it would go.
I'll buy the WSU perspective on that, but how does PH Systems agree to funding it? As I said, wear it once and throw it into the rag box kind of deal.

I'm guessing 18k-22k for 10,000 colored shirts with single color printing on both sides. Don't get me started ... if a health insurance company has that much money to throw around, then they're charging too much for their products.

Well -- I wear black EVERY game. Yellow/Gold and I don't mix, so I wear black; ergo I will not change. See you Wednesday.

P.S. Uh --- I meant that I would not change colors, not that I wouldn't change T-shirts. That could get a little odorous.

The "black out" was special because it was different.

I don't think we should look at doing it anymore than once a year.

And don't stop wearing yellow, it adds to the energy and look of the arena. And it looks great on TV.

              Yes.

This is the same reason why I prefer black as the road uniform. I remember the X-Man in black with no trim and the 'MTXE' on the shorts and thought that was about the coolest damn thing I ever saw!

Then along with the black unis, they took away the low brass cheer, dunking, and football all around the same time. That to me will always be the feminist movement of WSU athletics, and the beginning of the abyss. So the non-black road unis kind of put a sour taste in my mouth, because it reminds me of the start of the demise.

Here's what the professionals think about Yellow versus Black.

Yellow- "Yellow helps strengthen the nerves and the mind. It helps awaken mental inspiration and stimulates higher mentality"

Black-"breaking free from bad habits/addictions" like being 0-6

My opinion I prefer the men in black.

Instead of MTXE we could have MIB emblazoned on the shirts and shorts. :good:

I too thought they were black but a close up revealed they are a teal green with burgandy trim. They are still butt ugly.

Black on the road. Whites and Golds at home in equal amounts.

Black should be worn when ever possible.

WSU wears black on the road regularly. The color of the uniforms is not the solution. The solution is to play like they did against CU no matter what the uniform.
