The Shockers play on Saturday as if it were their last game on earth. Everybody has a spring in their step and an extra measure of focus. The crowd stands nearly the entire game and cheers until they can cheer no more.

I envision a thrilling victory and GG walking off the court with tears in his eyes and Toure' and Ramon under each arm. Right before GG gets to the tunnel I see him pause for a moment as the crowd is still roaring. He turns around to face the crowd and bows his head. Then he looks up to those banners that mark our storied history and points while nodding his head as if to say, "I will take you back, I will take you back"... The roof nearly blows off as the crowd continues to roar for several more minutes.

And the real "Marshall Era" begins.

That is my dream.

He refers to our Head Basketball Coach Gregg Marshall (greGG) as GG. He says there is another meaning to it, but hasn't elaborated.

It's just an "Long-Time" thing. Meaning no one has been a fan long enough to understand how he feels about WSU, and he has no hesitation to point that out anytime ANYONE questions his fan hood.

I don't question it, I just don't think he has as much respect, in agreement or disagreement, towards the other posters and fans as they give him.

I absolutely think our CROWD is capable of raising the bar, and helping our young, inexperienced team get to another level. Win or lose, pretty or ugly, doubt aside.

It's time to show our PASSION for WSU basketball. It's time for them TO HEAR OUR PASSION!! It's time for them to FEEL OUR PASSION!!

It's Creighton. That should be worth much more effort than Florida State!!

Strangely, I feel good about today. I feel good about our chances. It's just a feeling, but I do think a turn around is coming. I'm hoping that is coming today.

We'll see if I'm right or wrong. I'll be there cheering them on either way.

Today is go-time! Today is the perfect day to give something back to the fans and break this horrendous streak.

The stars are aligned and they will not align like this again. This is GG's chance to get the ball rolling in 2009.
