Someone wondered out loud in another thread about why WSU hasn't dominated the conference in basketball as our fundamentals would suggest?
I wonder where we'd be now if Jim Schaus would have been on the job instead of Tom Shupe? Think about the crossroads we faced in 1989/90 when Fogler left and a booster or two ran the basketball dept. What if Schaus had been here then?
My point is this, the root cause of all this frustration is having the right AD. Our administration did a poor job of giving us the right foundation for men's basketball until Prez Beggs took the helm.
